I recently stayed at Statham Lodge for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The hotel had a beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The dining room offered a full menu and the lounge was cozy. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and the ground floor room we were given was comfortable. The room upgrade was a pleasant surprise with its spaciousness and lovely decor. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fabulous, and the hotel provided excellent value for money. The breakfast and evening food were delicious, and the Thursday steak night offer was fantastic. The staff, for the most part, were friendly and helpful. a great stay at Statham Lodge.
Would recommend this hotel.

Nive location, impressive approach on arrival.
The room, (32 & 34) was tatty & needs upgrading, namely the Wardrobe & bedside furniture in need of replacement. Wall tv too small for the room.

The hotel is conveniently located with good parking facilities and a nice country setting. the main building offers spacious and well-equipped rooms, some with beautiful garden views. the staff are friendly and helpful, providing assistance when needed. the included breakfast is delicious and served quickly. it's a recommended hotel for business guests, offering a pleasant stay with comfortable rooms and good service.
The furniture in some rooms, especially in the annexe, is a bit outdated and rickety.

We got great value for our money at Statham Lodge. The room was cozy and inviting, with a newly renovated bathroom and a nice hot bath. The staff were great, making our whole stay a delight.
For breakfast, the only thing that could have been better was the variety of items available.

Grounds were well kept . Rooms were clean and functional. Staff friendly and attentive.
We Felt that the quality of food was very poor and didnt reflect either the promotional literature that was given out about the hotel or your claims .

I stayed at Statham Lodge for one night and decided to dine in their Squires Bar. The rump steak I had was cooked to perfection, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and apologetic for the delay in room service, offering compensation that I declined. The new bathroom and luxury television were also highlights. a great experience.
Do recommend this hotel.

Staff did not seem to understand that they worked in the 'service' industry. Not one person addressed us in a welcoming or pleasant way. The hotel does not offer a midweek restaurant which is no good for business residence. Instead they offered tables set up in the bar area for dinner which was a very strange layout and which provided a lovely smell of fried food in the bar. You have to get a taxi to the local village to find a decent meal - completely unacceptable for a 'country house hotel'.

We had a pleasant stay at a conveniently located hotel. The room wasnice and neat, with a nice bathroom and a comfy bed. We enjoyed the well-stocked bar and the food, although not extensive, was of good quality. The beautiful building and excellent gardens added to the overall ambiance. Despite a small drawback of some noise from other guests and a lack of helpfulness regarding an allergy, we still had a great time at Statham Lodge. I highly recommend this hotel for a short business trip.
